I am going crazy trying to get enough signal from my Onkyo 805 to my Panny AX100U. The sad thing is that it is only about a 25' run, in wall, to the projector. It's a long story but I actually tried the Yamaha RX-V1800 because I thought this was a receiver problem but the problem is twofold:

The Panny does not play well with 1080p/24 - this is well documented
The Onkyo does not put out a lot of "juice" from it's HDMI out to the display

Using the Yamaha with a Phoenix Gold repeater from Fry's and setting my BD30, PS3, and HD-XA1 to 1080i/60 I was able to get rid of all of the purple/green horizontal flashing that was happening periodically during movies.

Now with the Onkyo back in the system it is almost totally gone but I still got one flash last night during Lost (Blu-ray/Panny BD30)

Today I have a 22 gauge 25' HDMI cable coming from Monoprice - plus all new HDMI 1.3a interconnect cables - plus a repeater.

My question is if this doesn't work does anyone use an Audioquest HDMI extender/repeater?

I've heard great things about the Gefen which is also $200.00+ but I was wondering about the performance of the Audioquest.

Bottom line is that I need more "juice"

I may even try a repeater on both ends - has anyone done that before?
