In light of the recent announcement of WB going exclusive, I'm trying to figure out which DF player to buy. I plan on selling my XA2 and use whatever I gain from that onto a new DF player. I saw the Sammy 5000 but it had too many bad reviews. Is there a thread that lists all available and future DF players?

Well it's easy right now because three are only three.

LG BH-100 (obsolete)
LG BH-200 (replaced BH-100)
Samsung BD-UP5000

I'm not aware of any upcoming models, though that is very likely to change in a few days.

That would make sense - should not be that hard to add and no reason to develop a whole new box.

My guess is Toshiba will be next. The WB annoucement is a big blow to them. From another post apparently there might be breach of contract involved with WB going BR exclusive.

If Toshiba came out with a DF player I'd be very interested.

Between the current crop I'd give the edge to the Sammy 5000. I "think" it has more potential to be great and I own one :)
