This is at least the third Skynyrd concert aired in HD. They've been on MOJO and MHD. (I won't get to see this one though). Not a big fan but they sound good live.

This is a good show I had a friend who saw this performance last year.

June 15th, 2007 was the concert date on this one.

The fact that the Lynyrd Skynyrd band died in a plane crash 30+ years ago doesn't stop an aggressive desire for money.

Lets say a plane crashed in 1973 and Page, Bonham and Plant died in the crash. Jones forms a new band...and Led Zeppelin lives!

Amen, the band that calls themsleves Lynyrd Skynyrd is a joke. Watching them perform gives me an uncomfortable feeling. Its strangely embarrassing.

I wish classic rock could just somehow die :)

The Lead Singer and one Guitarist, and a Back Up singer died in the Crash. The majority of the band survived, and with Pyle's blessings and the other Family members, they decided to play on. I honestly see no problems with it. Certainly, the entire band didn't die, as your post implies.

Ronnie Van Zant WAS LS. What we now have is a fancy tribute band.

Zeppelin died in 1980 with Bonham's demise. The recent "reunion" was a fun, one time event. Even so...Zeppelin did not play this reunion...pseudo-Zeppelin did. John Bonham was essential to the Zep sound.

The A/V quality looks good on my D* setup, especially for MPEG-2.
