I guess this is a known issue, but I wanted to warn everyone that there is tearing with the VGA cable. What happens is that one part of the frame refreshes before the next frame, resulting in a distinct difference of what's happening about one line and beneath another line.

What monitor or TV are you using? There are literally thousands upon thousands of folks using the VGA cable with no issue.

It depends on the game guys. :) Some games turn off vsync through VGA in order to more smoothly render the game at the chosen resolution. Most games treat VGA the same as component and render with vsync on at 1280x720 and scale from there. Yet other games have dynamic vsync that change vsync from on to off once the framerate drops bellow a certain threshold. Nothing about VGA inherantly disables vsync on the 360.

I'm using a Dell 2407W.

This doesn't happen in all games, though it does happen through the HD-DVD add on (Which I'm returning anyway).
