What should I get? My 50 inch XBR1 is due to get swapped out and I have been holding back until this model was available. Now it seems it's not going to go into production even :( I don't like LCD's and a 70 Plasma is not my cup of tea. Ahhh nuts!

And so how does it look in comparison ? Not being an XBR and all. Doesn't look like I'm going to have much choice in the matter.

i's go with the 70xbr2. i think the xbr2s have superior processing than the a3000s

You can get the 60XBR2 with a no or small upgrade fee. Sony doesn't carry 70XBR2 anymore, so you are out of luck in that. But Good Luck.
