(Edit: this is resolved. I'm leaving the thread here intact in hopes that other people searching later might find it and save themselves times.)
I thought it could, but mine can't, at least from the one 1080p input source I have (Toshiba XA2 HD-DVD player).
Here's what I get over HDMI:
480p, 720p, 1080i: just fine (tested from TiVo HD and Toshiba XA2)
The only 1080p source I have is the Toshiba, and here's what I get:
Over 1080p, I get a signal that's VERY dark, and shifted somewhat left (that may well be RGB shift, but the darkness is awful).
Over 1080p/24, I generally get a stable signal, but it's too flickery for watching (no surprise there).
See attached screenshots (first 3 are those that "work just fine"; next are the ones that don't). All screenshots are same camera settings (f2.8, 1/8s exposure).
Any advice? I'd hate to think I spent $435 on a card that only gets me 1080i. If that's all I wanted, I could have stuck with analog (and it would even be easier to integrate into my setup as I have an extron matrix switcher that can handle all of my component sources).
I feel like others have gotten 1080p to work, and I'd like to as well.
Any advice would be appreciated, but especially advice from anyone who's got a G90 with any 1080p capable HDMI input card.
Thanks,
--Jim
PS: I did search pretty extensively here and at Curt's site, and originally posted my question over there as well.
