My mits 73713 has the dreaded blinking green light syndrome and luckily I had the extended warranty from Brandsmart. They came and picked it up and after two weeks I called to check on it with them responding that they are waiting on an answer to possibly just replace it. Warranty says tv will be replaced with similar set. Have loved this tv but with these no longer made what would you guys choose based on whats available now?

My guess is that they would just replace these caps that everyone talks about that cost very little. However based on the incompetent techs that they sent out 3 times prior to pickup I can see why they are considering replacement...they have no clue. Like most big name auto repair shops they employ wrench turners and not true technicians.

Any help much appreciated.
