I don't know if this is the right section for this question, but this is the place I most frequently visit. I recently bought an Impact Acoustics 3-play HD component switcher because the back of my Hitachi 51F59 only has two and I need three.

My question is can I just leave this thing on day and night? It's powered but it doesn't have a cooling fan...but I can't see this thing getting hot because it just "switches". I just don't want the inconvience of turning on and off another component when I want to watch something. The manual doesn't say anything about my issue. What do you think?
