Any USB keyboard and mouse should work with the PS3. Wireless ones should work fine as well since I believe they all come with a USB IR dongle. If you have a wireless bluetooth KB/M you won't even need the dongle.

Not many games work with a KB/M though. UT3 is the only one that comes to mind. I assume you're looking for one for the browser though.

NeverSummer, can you give more detail of that combo works in games or just for messaging?

I am using the rocketfish bluetooth mouse and keyboard. Both work great for surfing the web, messaging and in UT3.

If you're gonna play "mini mod" you could at least provide some links for the guy.

Here's some links to previous topics:

I've done that many times in the past. Didn't have the time to when I posted, but thanks for being rude about it.

You did that once, not "many times". No problem. You had plenty of time to type up your post but not to input the search and copy and paste? At least I took the few seconds out of my posting to provided some helpful links to the poster's question instead of "use the search engine". Don't you think that comes off rude? It did in my opinion. There are also plenty of people in this topic discussing this which they don't mind that is has been discussed before. Then you come alone eight posts later and say this. What a wasted effort in my opinion. By the way your link doesn't work. Good job.

Wow man. You are really taking this personally. Nevermind.... I don't really care that much. I honestly thought the OP would be happy to know that there are other threads out there that would have his question answered so he could know what to do right away.

P.S. When I said many times, I meant on many other forums (not just AVS) as well as sub forums of AVS. I don't get all upset when someone posts a question that has been discussed already. I'm just trying to help point them in the right direction to find their answer.

Sorry, it just really irritates me to no end when people just say "use the search function". I would understand if the topic had been discussed to death but really there are just a handful of threads on this particular topic. Suggesting them to use the search then pointing them in the right direction with a search link is more polite in my opinion. I understand some people not using the search because I have been on forums where the search engine just plain sucks. Anyway didn't mean to attack you personally. Shall we get back on topic? By the way my Logitech G5 works fine with my PS3.

K/M work in non-game modes. The only game that supports K/M is Unreal 3. I hope future FPS will offer this option because I have friends and myself are staying away from FPS games because of this, and we purchased COD4 PC instead. I am sure lots of PC gamers are waiting for K/M support. I can only speak for my friends and myself, we are tired of upgrading videocard, CPU, and memory every 1-2 yrs.
