We bought this samsung hln617 about 3 1/2 years ago and a sony HDMI surround system 1 year ago, we finally bought a sony hdmi 1080p upscale dvd player and we got the dvi to hdmi cord and nothing seems to work the dvd player says its loading but then says can not read disc, it will play a normal dvd but not a hd dvd ( Planet Earth) or ( Oceans 13), tried both neither work we have the tv dvi hooked to the surround and the surround hooked to the dvd? if you could help that would be great!!! I dont know if there are settings I need to change on the tv or what.
