I have obtained a SpyderII and have installed HCFR. Now I have a few questions for those who have already used this combination.

1. Generator selection I assume is DVD manual when using DVD patterns?

2. When creating a new calibration I select SpyderII and then it displays SpyderII parameters page, Anything I should be adjusting/changing in this menu?? Sensor Matrix is one that I am totally clueless about???

3. Once in the software screen do I use the Grey Scale measure window???

In the pics I have included is there any important adjustments that need to be made before performing calibration measurements???

I also have a question on regards to the Spyder colormeter. Is the Spyder II the same as the SpyderTV colormeter?? Also, should I remove the light blue filter on the SpyderTV colormeter while using the Color HCFR software? Im with albiemanmike, what selections do I choose to complete gray scale calibrations.

For CRT (and plasma?)remove the blue filter (baffle) and for all other leave
the filter on.

As for the settings,all can be leave at default.
