If you have one for sale, let me know...
I don't think I'm interested in a Marquee or any Sony...I'd love a Dwin, maybe even a Barco as the only Barco I've ever had was a 708, which was good, but not great.
Anyhow, I'm sure you'll let me know what you have....

Curious as to why you're rejecting Marquee and Sony?

The only Sony I'd want is a G70, and I don't really want one...I'm way more used to the XGLC chassis and the Sony is of course big and loud. I know I could quiet down an XGLC, but not sure about a Sony.
I've had several E-homes and they're soooo huge that it's a negative for me. I have a tiny little basement room and the E-home just isn't practical. A Barco might be great because of it's low profile and my low ceiling.
I suppose an 8500LC would still be of interest...but I just had one and of course sold it:)

Well I am one of the many happy Dwin 700 owners here. It is a very surprising little projector. I have been putting some work into it, and have been well rewarded. Currently I am doing 720p @ 72 Hz and VERY happy with the picture with just a ruffed in setup. Once I get a good proper final setup in its final location It should surprise most people. ( even those with 9"ers)
:-P

The Dwin is nice...it's small and quiet, but it will not even come close to challenging a 9" lc set...not even close. But, for what it is...it's good.

Boy would I move quickly.Cost wont be a factor because 10 minutes from you- you are in the country and lots of room(dedicated HT)with low cost .Easy for me to say.

Ron,
I agree...and I'm giving it some real consideration...
I wish I had a basement half the size of yours...it would be amazing.
Rear projection would take it to the next level...golden silence and no huge projector in the room...

Ben Ben Ben.....
