Pregame is up on the FOX Digital Television network. Studio segments are 480i upconverted to 720p, field reports are 720p, audio is DD5.1.

I'm guessing the Bucs might win. But only because they get scrimmages in the regular season with that division. Only reason Seattle won is because Washington got beat up all year playing in the toughest division in the league. I know the AFC South is really good, but they have Houston. No patsies in the NFC East.

Since the field reports are passing through the studio, would they be 720p downcoverted to 480i upconverted to 720p.

Are you sure? It seems I read somewhere the field reports didn't pass through the studio.

Not sure, my post was more of a question.

I hope that the Bucs beat the Giants today so we don't have to hear about them anymore. I feel like I've been watching a 1 hour Giants pregame show on Fox.

PQ looks very good. DD5.1 sounds great, alot better than NBC's game yesterday. I'm watching OTA (WSVN) in Miami.

PQ on Fox in the SF Bay Area is OK but a bit bleached, probably due to the bright sunlight. Once again FOX has their idiot ticker bar too far down from the top of the screen. It's very annoying. What are they thinking about?

Watching OTA in Richmond VA.

Normal Fox game, main camera looks crappy, all others look great.

Ridiculous statement. Seattle won simply because they are a better team. The only reason Washington was given a chance was due to the inability of many to separate emotional feelings (#21) from reality.

Also, PQ out of Seattle is pristine via Comcast cable on KCPQ. Still don't understand why the BCS games on the same channel turned out so poor...

My thoughts exactly. WJW-DT Cleveland (no subchannels) via D* MPEG4 locals, 50" 1080p plasma here.

Watching the game now in San Diego, XETV HD, via TWC thru SA8300HDC set for 720P (HDMI to avr set to pass thru to my Panny TH-50PZ77U).

PQ is very good! Maybe the cameras are set an f-stop too bright for my tastes.

But for me, my experience so far is that the FOX broadcasts are better than what NBC did yesterday for PQ.

WXIN via Insight / Comcast QAM in Indy. The game was just in SD 4:3 for a few plays towards the start of the second quarter before going back to HD 16:9. Had me scared.

I forgot, Seattle got to play in the WORST division in the league. So they had 6 scrimmages also.
Seattle was also at home, which means they didn't have to travel across the country....due to them being in that horrible division.

pq pretty good. main cams good, reasonably sharp. good color. bit of pixelation in background of closeups. good grass (well, dirt in the middle of the field).

aq pretty good too. nice and immersive. almost snf-esque.

comcast south jersey.

Picture is very bright. These games are the toughest to put together I bet because the sun really makes things bright and can drown out a lot of detail. But the Fox production looks good.

All I know is Seattle beat the Eagles in Philadelpha 28-24 on December 2, and beat the Redskins in the playoffs. What does that say about the NFC East then?

Congrats, Tatoupa(sp?) got a few balls thrown right to him and this was a terrible year for the Eagles. The Redskins were without their starting QB and their all-pro safety and they had to travel acroos country and play in your house.
If you can beat Green Bay, my hats off.

First off, Tatupu's film study helps him drop into proper coverage to snag balls that Detmer shouldn't have thrown. Before the game Saturday, Todd Collins was regarded as the only QB the skins should play with, supposedly to ride him into the Super Bowl. And with their All-Pro safety, the skins were a .500 team. BTW, it's not that bad traveling to the west coast for an east coast team. A 1:30 west coast kick off is like 4:30 in the afternoon for an east coast body. If it was the other way around, Seattle would've been playing football at 10:30 a.m. A much tougher scenario, one which penalizes west coast teams year after year.

Either way, you're right that Green Bay will be a real test to see how Seattle measures up this year. Lots of storylines for this one.

A little OT, but did anyone happen to watch the game on a regular TV? I had a party at my house and while the majority of us were watching the game on my 57" Mitsu, I had another TV ( regular 4:3) in another room with the game on and it looked horrible. a lot of distortion. I have Cablevision, LI.

I have been reading the posts on this thread and the ones from this weekend.
You guys are worse than the women on the view. All you do is sit there in your living room and trash out the shows and the jobs the professionals are doing. If you could do it better you would be at the site instead of sitting in your living room with a keyboard in your hands.
