Hi im new here and ive just taken the flyback transformers out of two CRTs but does anyone here know how to make them work because i cant find much on the internet and ive found out they only work at a frequancy of
20Khz and mains is only 50hz. If anyone wants to know they are both a made by DuGo.

You need the rest of the set to make them work. To try and build an oscillator circuit around them would be insanely difficult unless you're an engineer in the first place.

What do you intend to use them for?

If you want them for making arcs and sparks then a PC power supply can be modified to run them, I have one that I did myself.

If you want them to work in a projector then as Curt said you need the whole projector.

You said you removed them from the projector, why did you do that, what projector was it and do you still have it?

The projectors were both brocken and a lot of the circutry was fried and there seemed to be nothing wrong with the flyback transformer so i just took them and trashed the other stuff. Sorry if this is really bad but the circutry really was mostly fried exept for the transformer AMAZINGLY. I dont get how everything was fried exept the tranformer.

I don't believe you..:)

'circuitry mostly fried' is either indicative of a cheaply made chassis that has heat damage everywhere, or a tech that has no idea what he is doing, so he writes the set off and tells the ignorant customer a line like that.

How's that for being blunt?
