Ok so I got my monoprice 5x1 switch. For whatever reason I’m confused about the hookup. I have and HD DVD that I wish to share among two TV’s. I also have my AV receiver which has 2IN and 1OUT HDMI.

Currently I go HDMI out from my cable box to HDMI IN to the receiver, HDMI out of the receiver to HDMI IN to one TV and currently HDMI out of the DVD HDMI IN to the receiver. My receiver has 2in's and 1Out.

I did a test yesterday. I went out from my HDDVD to input 1 on the the monoprice and out from the monoprice to a TV in another room with a 75foot cable. I used a Harmony 890 with IR extender to control it. The extender controled both the HDDVD and Monoprice switch with no problem.

I'm just looking to share the DVD with the TV above which is in my bedroom, and the TV in the den.

I realize now I need a switch with two outs in order to accomplish what I want to do unless someone has any thoughts on how I can share the DVD with two TV's using the monoprice 1x5 with my receiver.
