My new Harmony 880 has a couple of activities set up. The main one I use turns the receiver on, then the projector, and then the hd dvd player. Sometimes the 880 doesn't turn on the projector and I don't know why. It is like the projector isn't getting the command or signal from the 880. Any idea how to fix this? Thanks.

Most likely, it's not using the best combination of repeats and delays. There's a sticky at the top detailing how to fix the issue.

I have been doing some reading. Do you think that the IR (or is it RF) repeater would help?

Try going into Setup, Adjust the delays, and increasing some of the delays. I would try Inter-Device delay and if that does not work, Inter-Key Delay.
