I am bummed I missed the Amazon pre-Christmas deal, but given the Warner news, I am ready to move into the blue-ray camp with the PS3. What is the best deal right now?

Thanks

There are no price deals. I bought mine from the Sony employee store and it is the same price as if it was at BB or CC etc. Sony treat this as a loss leader.
Why I bought it at the store was because I also bought my XBR there for a heck of a good price.

At ToysRus this week, you can get a free Blu-ray remote... Not much, but something.

I got mine from Sony Style and used their creit card to get $100 credit. I missed the free controller by a day though

At SonyStyle.com, you can sign up for a Chase credit card and get $100 credit on the card. Simply use the card to buy the PS3, comes out to $399, and then cancel the card (I've done this on Amazon.com)

x2. That's the best deal going right now. I also just picked up a refurbed 60gb unit with 1yr warranty though, so I think I'll send in my rebate for the 5 free blu-ray movies and e-bay the 80GB PS3 I just bought (hasn't arrived yet.)

Just wanted to clarify SonyStyle CC deal, the $100 credit is off of your 1st statement, so an 80GB is $499+tax+shipping-$100 (not just $399). Also, with the SonyStyle CC deal, you accumulate enough reward points with the 80gb PS3 to get another Sony BR movie free.
