I've recently upgrade my AV receiver and now have all of my audio/video sources connected through a Yamaha RXV1800 (very nice AV receiver too!).
Previously I had my Tivo HD and my HD/BD player hooked up through seperate inputs on the Sony TV so that the Tivo input used the "standard" PictureMode and the HD/BD used the calibrated "custom" PictureMode.
Are there any custom codes, etc, to send a code to the Sony TV to go to a specific picture mode? I only see an IR button for "PictureMode" which is a toggle switch. There's really no way to have it push "PictureMode" the right number of times when going into and leaving an activity to insure that the right PictureMode is active.
If anyone has any insight into this let me know. As a crutch I've simply mapped the PictureMode button onto each Video Activity so that I can manually change the mode when I'm in that activity. Clunky, but it works.
