Hello all!

I currently own a sony hs10 and have been quite pleased with it. It's bulb life is about up and I looking at my options.

Would getting a mits hc1500 or an acer ph530 be considered an upgrade? A new bulb is going to run me close to $300. I recently saw the hd1000 in action next to my hs10 and the mits blew it away.

I would love to hear everyone's opinion on the matter.

I have an Acer and I am very pleased with it.
I have a Da-lite video spectra screen with it.

Thanks for the response Lou. If I can find a fairly cheap Acer I might bite. I think lamps are running around $200 and I'd have to figure that into the cost.

Any hs10/20 owners out there? I'd love to hear if $300 towards a new lamp is worth it.

If I can get a far better picture out of the HC1500 then I might save my pennies and pony up for one later.
