I'm wondering if its really the 5000 or if its certain receivers causing the problem..Case in point.I have a ps3. I have a rented copy of 28 weeks later on blu ray.We got sound but no picture on through my brothers pio 82vx receiver.I put a rented copy of Die hard with a vengence in there and its worked just fine.We both have 56" samsung dlp's.I have an Onkyo 805.We hooked the ps3 up to my receiver and 28 weeks played perfect.I'm wondering if some receiver's have a handshake problem with HDMI..Its a long shot,I have to see if 28 weeks plays on my 5000.Borne Ultimatum would not.My bro has an A20 I have to try Borne out on still.

The Pio is known for its HDMI handshake idiosyncracies.
