All, not sure if this is the correct forum but maybe someone can help.

On this TV stand there are these big Nuts and Bolts.

What I would like to know is where can I find these in this color and size. Would anyone here know?

Home Depot or Lowes? Anyone know the name or part number on these?

Thanks a MILL!!

Actually, these long bolts would be useful for the anamorphic lens housing, and I had thought about using them for my housing (and searched for them at the local hardware stores). You can buy long threaded rods that could be cut down, but I thought that was way too much work.

But if you use a base attached to a top with these threaded rods, you could tighten on the prisms (with some kind of foam material. And then use some kind of very thin board for the sides of the housing (much like the back of some tv stands that are nailed in place with small brads).

This would solve one of the problems I had with my housing--how to get the right height of the sides to really hold the prisms in place.

Course thread USS. Looks like probably 3/8". That's called threaded rod folks. You can buy it in sticks 2.5-3 feet long and thread a nut on it and cut behind the nut with a hacksaw and screw the nut off (so it goes BACK ON).

Available at just about any hardware or automotive store. Probably even Wally-World.

This is known as "threaded rod" and can be purchased at HD and Lowes. They have many lengths and diameters. Here (http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=howTo&p=BuyGuide/NutsAndBolts.html) is a link to it's useage.
