My linksys wireless has never dropped out on me before.. until I get a phone call it kicks out and wont connect until I get off the phone. Is this just interferance or is there a way to adjust the router so it wont drop-out?

Had friends with same issue and the only way they could fix it was to buy a phone that was not 2.4 Ghz ;) .

Haha, it is 2.4Ghz. Thanks for the reply. Maybe I will just unplug it when I play and not tell the GF :D

Wow, that's crazy! I've never heard of that happening!

You might want to try setting your router to a different channel first to see if that helps. Or, if your phone has the ability to set the "default" or preferred channel, change that too. But I would start with the router's channel setting. You want to use either channel 1, 6, or 11, since those are the only non-overlapping channels. I think the default for most/all routers is 6, so try either 1 or 11 (I'm not sure which will get you further from the channel of your particular phone) and see if one or the other is better.

Good luck!

Very very common. Usally it's the product of a crappy router and crappy wireless phone. Changin channels helped with my issue, but replacing that stupid POS Linksys router did the trick. YMMV

Personally I'd replace the phone instead. I'm much happier with my 5.8Ghz phone than I was with a good router and 2.4Ghz phone. 900mhz phones work as well. There is just too much stuff crammed into the 2.4Ghz range.
