Sony 1270 CRT Projector

Description:
This is a old CRT projector in working condition. The tubes have reasonable wear on them. The green CRT has a spot burn which runs almost vertically. The effects of this are not noticeable on regular scenes. Only on a all white screen this is noticeable and appears as a red vertical line consisting of dashes/dots. The case is scuffed up but you can clean it up or paint it. It may be missing some screws.

That said, the PJ is in good working condition. It is an excellent introduction into the CRT projector world. It is good for playing games on a big screen. Best of all it is totally free to anyone who picks it up. I am home by 5 PM everyday or all day on weekends.

The box you see in the photo is not included.

I posted on Craigslist and got a zillion e-mails in 10 minutes. I am worried that these guys may just be parts dealers who will part out this PJ and sell it on e-bay. I'd rather have someone play with it and learn about CRT PJs.

Hence I'd like to offer it to AVSers first.

wow, that's the nicest looking shipping crate i've ever seen and it's holding one rough looking projector. Nothing that some black paint won't fix though. :)
My hats off to your generosity, there's no better way to introduce someone to CRT than a free PJ.

you may be able to convert that case to a hush box. well, it is probably to small for airflow.

Rajdude,
My wife and I had a great time at your place today! And please let your wife know as well. Wish we could have spent more time there, but we didn't get home until almost 5:00! A long day for us. (That’s what happens when you get old  .)

I will definitely get a batch of beef jerky for you guys here soon.

Also, just wanted to let you know that my wife has said whatever we need to finish out HT, then do it! :D

I told her we need a new surround sound processor, IR control center, Pronto-Pro, seats, popcorn machine, etc, etc, etc...

She said, get it! She was very impressed with your HT and can't wait until we get ours finished.

Again, thanks very much for the pj and the hospitality today!

I owe you one!
