So i am newbie here.. i post on many car forums and work for an electronics broker... i am looking to purchase a Toshiba 65HM167 or a Samsung HLT5676S? Can anyone here vouch for either TV?? both are the same price... so i am assuming go with the 65 in. I know samsungs are the "best" for DLP. Any word on Toshiba?

Tosh has abondoned the DLP market. I personally would stick with Samsung, but there are many happy Tosh customers.

I just the 65HM167 mine for $999 at Fry's. It's huge, the picture is great, and I havent had any problems with it... yet. I cant complain. There's a thread dedicated to the 65HM167 here..

If the price is the same, I might go Samsung as well. But I'd be surprised if you couldn't search around and find the Tosh for much cheaper...
