axiom m80 or outaw LCR for 20x25x10 HT setup? its a big room so my concern here is do you think the medium size Outlaw LCR would be a good fit for this big room?
My thinking is either a
1. 7.1 Axiom setup with M80 up front, axiom center, 4 QS8 surrounds, and 2 SVS ultra 13 subs or
2. 7.1 Outlaw audio setup with 7 Outlaw LCR speakers all around and 2 SVS ultra 13 subs
Both would be powered by outlaw 990/7200 combo. What do you guys think?

The Outlaw should give you a better timbre match. If you go with the Axioms, I would highly recommend you get a VP100 center. The VP150 has a weird driver layout with very different output (and sound) off-axis according to my experience and the Sound and Vision Magazine review from a couple months back.

That's a great setup your looking at. My room is smaller 13x19x10 so I went with the M60's, VP150, and the QS8's. tonygeno, I'd read the same issues on the VP150 and it was what held me up on the purchase. The VP100 would not be sufficient for the M80s. I went and listed at an Axiom owners house and tried everything to hear the off-axis issue with the VP150 - couldn't (tried everything, went from corner to corner in that room listening, walking slowly past it to the furthest angle possible). Only way it could be heard was with pink noise. If you do go with the M80's make sure you're receiver can drive it (from what you have listed it should be). Very nice subs by the way (I went with 1 HSU 3.3). Go to Axioms website and see if you can find someone in your area to demo them (under the forums click the hearing things link). i was planning on going with B&W, but I'm now an Axiom convert 100% - they're amazing.
