I've been trying to find good sites online that have CES home theater news and have come up with the following: http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/blog http://blog.stereophile.com/ces2008 http://blog.hometheatermag.com/ces2008 http://blog.ultimateavmag.com/ces2008/ Kal Frontside 1080 01-23-08, 11:04 AM Agreed. AVS really dropped the ball with no CES'08 thread. Now all the current threads will be dragged off topic too :( Alan Gouger 01-23-08, 11:18 AM Guys CES has changed direction the last few years. It is relly no longer a HT show nore the show to announce new equipment. It is a gadget show. 2 years ago Stewart and Runco dropped off and said they were going with a small kiosks. This year left us really disappointed with no new announcements worth while. Cedia is the show manufactures have embarrassed for announcing new product. I really miss the annual booth babe thread:) mp20748 01-23-08, 11:31 AM Guys CES has changed direction the last few years. It is relly no longer a HT show nore the show to announce new equipment. CEDIA and CES are completely different markets and there was a lot more announcements at CES than CEDIA. |
