HL-T6187S owners, can you measure how long the TV stand attached to the base of the TV is?

Also, I noticed with the TR500X3BX stand you can adjust 3 widths. could I leave this unit in it shortest 45 inch width and have the 61 inch DLP sit on top? (this is why I wanted to know the TV stand base length...
