Does anyone know if they'll be a show on CES 2008 like there was last year put on HDnet? I thought last years airing was very informative and left me craving more.

The show is called "What's Kewl at CES xxxx". There's even been a thread about it somewhere in this forum.

Are they going to come out with a 2008 edition? I tried searching but came out empty handed

Believe someone from HDNet posted they didn't produce the show this year. -- John

With all of the fighting and whatnot on HDNet I haven't seen any of their productions lately. So much so I have been real close to dropping my HD Package as HDNet and HDNet Movies are the only reasons I have it.

If it wasn't for Torchwood it would be gone right now. I was hoping they would be producing more in-house shows by now but it appears to have gone the other direction... at least regarding my viewing tastes.

I know, every time I turn on HDNET, there is that fighting garbage on. I use to watch this channel all the time , but now may be once in while when the "Nothing but Trailers" is on.:(

What happened to the second showings of NHL games late on Thursdays and Saturdays? I usually skip the primetime showings to catch them later when the wife has gone to bed. Looks like they've been replaced with those lame fighting shows. Aside from Torchwood and NHL I don't bother with HDNet much any more. Even Bikini Destinations, etc. have become boring after seeing the same eps 100 times!

Sad, but true. After DIRECTV added to their HD Lineup last Fall, HDNet took a huge hit in my viewing hours. It's not helped by the fact that Dead Like Me was yanked form their schedule. Hockey and Ultimate Fighting? Wouldn't watch it if it was in my backyard. Time for some serious revamping, IMO.

Agreed. I mostly just watch HDNet for Torchwood and the few interesting documentaries that show up here and there. They really need a breakout original series or two along the likes of what USA, FX or SciFi are putting out.

You hear that Cuban now that you got that Kidd trade done you need to trade up for some better programming. While at the same time not getting rid of your good programming like your CES round tables and other CES coverage.

Smallville and Enterprise are the only things I watched regularly. Wont watch Ultimate fighting or Hockey. They are almost the same thing :D

if it weren't for hdnet movies, the hdnet franchise would be pretty irrelevant at this point.

Back on Topic.

I would really like to see this in HD on HDNet as they've done in the past. Personnally, I think it should be 2 hours spread over 4 shows or something very close to that.
