Hi All,

I'm finally getting the bulb timer warning on my JVC HD-61FH96, and thought I would check on the 3-year bulb replacement warranty from RepairAuthority.com that I bought with the television. I can't find any more live pages from them, just cached ones.

Has anyone got any useful information as to where these folks went, or what I can do about it once my lamp actually needs replacing?

Did you find anything on these guys - repairauthority.com I have been trying to get service on a TV I bought through Dr. Plasma with an extended warranty. The warranty was with mackcam.com, but mackcam.com said Dr. Plasma never paid for the warranty, so I called Dr. Plasma and they said they had switched it to repairauthority.com. Finally a Guy came out look at it, said he would order a part, next thing you know they've vanished. This was back in 04/2008.

I'm in the same boat with you. I bought a television through Dr Plasma. I was very wary but took the plunge anyway. Dr. Plasma actually sold me the 3-yr bulb replacement warranty that stated repairauthority.com. I called Dr. Plasma and low-and-behold, they told me they couldn't help me. He told me that they are a seperate company and that I would have to find the domain owner of that and persue it that way. I did pull the following info from a domain ownership website but when I called the CA number, I got someone who tried to sell me a domain name. Here's the info from the domain ownership search.

There is no telling..... I guess it was just a waste to buy that extended warrenty.. i wish there was a way to contact them... I spent like $200 for the warrenty. If anyone knows how to file a claim or anything please post it.
