I have a Panny PT-53X54J RPCRT. I notice overscan issues on my xbox 360 games and sometimes on my Dish 722 Dvr. I am 100% hdmi all the way through. I dont know how to enter 'service mode' nor do I know what to do when I get there to fix this issue. Any help would be great!

Good luck, be careful. Panasonic is one of the more difficult to adjust geometry & convergence to reduce overscan. Very picky on how far in you can push it. Each resolution uses a different memory, and must test every stretch mode with new settings. Write down every original value before you tweak. My suggestion -live with it or call a pro.

yer probably right - i should just live with it. i have had the tv for over 3 years now, and the PQ is still amazing. I cant believe how good hd dvds and hd football and hd video games look on it. I think i can deal with a bit of overscan here and there!
