Over in the Dedicated Theater section I bumped this question recently and received some good responses. Since my HT/Bar is a general purpose room instead of a dedicated theater I want to see the same thing here. I'm starting dry wall this weekend and need to decide on paint colors. If you have photos of your HT/Bar/General purpose room please post them so I can get some ideas on colors combinations. The dark colors of the dedicated theaters are not ranking real high on the WAF so if you have rooms with lighter colors I'm really interested in those.

i also had a non-dedicated room so i didn't want really dark colors.

Thanks for the reply. This is really ironic, my wife and I have your thread in our favorites because it is a room that really caught our eye when we looked at it. I was dead set on doing the blue/gray thing but it will not match the ash bartop I'm making so this color is our top choice so far. You really have a great setup and a fantastic room.

that SW paint i specified in that thread (Duration in Matte) is highly recommended, whatever the color.
