Hi all. I have a Seleco SDG700 and it has quit working. I need advice on where to get parts and how to diagnose the problem. The unit has power but when I turn on the power switch the light that normally turns green just blinks green shortly and goes to solid red for about 3 seconds and then continues that sequence. If anybody can help or point me in the direction of someone who can I would appreciate the help.

This is going to be a really tough one, as the sets weren't built very well, and few were sold in North America (no offense!)

Frankly, with the pricing of CRT projectors now, I'd scrap the unit and get a rebuilt one. You can get the same performance from something like an ECP projector for well under $500, but I'd upgrade to an EM focusing set for about $1000 that will blow away the Seleco.

THere was a company called OWL in Florida that was the distributor, but by the time you send it there and back, you're most likely into $400 just for shipping. Not sure if they are still around, I thought they were in trouble some time ago? I could be wrong on that though.

Thanks for the reply. I had visited your site and was kind of hoping you might have parts for the Seleco. Anyway Owl did come to my location when I first got the unit. It has been working since October of 1998. I was kind of hoping it was something simple, but if I can get a projector capable of at least 720P for $1,000 or less that would be great.
