Hey, all, new member , new TV, but I did a search, and I can't seem to fins any codes that work with my new Toshiba 42HL167 and my TiVo Series 2 remote. I tried all the Toshiba codes in the TiVo setup guide, but no joy. Anybody have any codes that work? Also, my remote that came with the TV seems to not be working well, I hope it's just a remote problem and not the sensor on the TV itself, although that would explain why the TiVo codes didn't work. The TV remote worked fine right away, then I set it down, watched some vids off my PS3, then picked up the remote about 15 minutes later to change the inputs, and nothing. It worked one more time after that, but only for a minute. I already tried 2 new sets of batteries, so I'm going to Video Only (where I got the TV) and having them take a look at the remote. In fact, I'm leaving for there as soon as I post this.... Thanks in advance for any help with the TiVo codes.

Looks familiar, but I'll give that one a try. Just got back from Video Only, and the remote works fine there. The salesman said to try unplugging the set for 5-10 minutes, because sometimes the IR sensor can go a little haywire when they are first set up, and leaving it unplugged will reset everything. He said that happened to him once, and that fixed it, so here's hoping! But he also said that if that doesn't help, it's most likely the sensor, which means a whole new set. I've been without a good TV for months now (this set is replacing my 2.5 year old Samsung 30" tube that died a couple months ago), and I don't want to go without again already! But I'll give that code a try Edmund, thanks for the help!
