I have recently noticed very jagged, stepped edges in the words of the Comcast cable guide. I have not noticed this with other broadcast words or anything like that. I have a Sony 50" SXRD 1080p and the Comcast high def/DVR box (forgive me...I'm not at home and don't know the exact model) connected directly to the TV input via HDMI.

Is it normal to see this on the Comcast channel guide? Any thoughts on what could be the issue if this is not "normal".

Did you try turning down the sharpness?
