I think I may have accidentally given a friend mini-HDMI cable to hook up to his blueray player instead of the regular HDMI.

Is there any real difference between these cables? Are they compatible? Is there any noticeable difference in sound or video quality?

you mean other than the fact that the connector isn't gonna fit?

ha thanks.. That's what I needed to know.. I wasn't sure if it would still fit.. Well, I haven't heard any complaints from my friend yet, so I must have given him the right one after all..
