My SVS SCS-01 center channel speaker was blocking the IR port on my Samsung HLT-6189S DLP TV. So I couldn't use my remote from seating area to turn on TV.

I searched google for solutions to the problem and various companies wanted $200+ for Remote Anywhere Connection kits. Of course this was overkill as I just needed to get a signal to my TV.

Today I went and bought this (http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Terk-Universal-Remote-Extender-Kit-LF-IRX/sem/rpsm/oid/60468/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do) at CC. It works great, albeit a little cluttered.

Or you can buy this (http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?summary=summary&techSpecs=techSpecs&currentTab=custRatings&custRatings=custRatings&features=features&accessories=accessories&productId=2049642&support=support&tab=summary) from Radioshack.

They both come with everything you need.

Join the club... your equipment is now hidden.

You could always try a well placed little mirror for cheap.

Isn't there some cheap solution? Like < $50?
