Hi,

Can someone tell me the best way to program the Harmony 880 Remote with the codes for the Nyko Blue Wave IR remote for the PS 3? I want to use the Harmony 880 for my home theater and therefore will be using it for the PS 3's Blu-Wave DVD player.

Are the codes that are already in the Harmony for the Nyko good, or is it better to program the Harmony manually? What has been your experience and does it work out OK?

Thanks,

Mitch

This is about the 3rd thread about the PS3 I've replied to in the last 5 minutes, and I don't even own a PS3.

I've been reading that the codes are now in the database for the Blue-Wave...

it's pretty simple but not all automatic.

choose Nyko and then blu wave

You will then need to customize the buttons as they don't automatically fill in like you may be use to.

by customize i mean simply select play means play, stop means stop, FF means FF. I think the only commands i had to think about were "display" and... um... I can't think of the other one.

I very curious why Logitech didn't already have it set up that way but no matter. It took about 10 min and works flawlesly

choose Nyko and then blu wave

I'd like to add that this is under Game Device with DVD.

MitchMiles,

I have the 890 Pro, so it could be different, but I just went through this and it works well. I picked Nyko from a list and it then instructed me to line up the Nyko remote with the Harmony, gave me a drop down list of all possible commands to map and I did them one by one. It only took about 15 minutes. On the list were not just the typical FF and Play, but circle, square, triangle, etc. They were all there. Good luck!
