View Full Version : Comcast HD VOD breakup

I've got the SA 8300hdc and when I try to wtch any HD VOD programs the picture has digital breakups every 30 to 45 seconds, making viewing nearly impossible. All SD VOD content is perfect, as well as all normal HD and digital cable channels. I've tried everything I can think of, including pluging the cable to the box directly into the drop from Comcast before any splitters at all with the same problem. This is a new box, as I just traded in a 8300HD box as I did the same tests with the same results on that box.

Any ideas on what to do next??

They've been out before because of this. I heard every excuse imginable (too many splitters, problem with HDMI cable to my tv, etc.) I've got to wonder if its a problem with Comcast's servers or network. I'd check this out at a neighbors or co-workers house, except I dont know anyone left in Sarasota that hasn't jumped ship over to FIOS.
