Hello!

I have a Sony LCD 37inch HDTV the KDL-37P3020 and a PS3 60gb, I brought a Monster HDMI cable that gives me 10.2Gbps.

Now the problem is that I cant get my PS3 to connect to my HDTV.
The TV doesnt even acknowledge the PS3 in the HDMI sources menu on the TV settings.

Ive tried all kinds of solutions but nothing seems to have worked, ive applied on the Sony website for some help but I have to wait ages for feedback.

I was hoping some of you "Hi-tech wizards" could help me solve the problem and start watching some Blu-ray disc's and enjoying the high definition scene everyone has been raving about.

I don't have a PS3 and can not help with your problem. I can save you a bundle though. Take that "Monster" back and buy a cheap cable somewhere else, Walmart,etc. In the future buy on line, monoprice is great and there are others. 6' HDMI cable there is about $6.

Might get more detailed help in the flat panel threads. Cycle power on both devices.

If you're sure that both Sonys work properly then try another hdmi cable. Make sure everything is turned off before you connect the cable.

Tried two types and still black screen when the ps3 asks me if I want high definition.
