I am not receiving this game in HD. I don't know whether this is a local broadcast error or not. Are the rest of you receiving it in HD?

I'm getting Texas Tech @ Oklahoma State on WWJ-DT in Detroit, via Comcast. As usual, looks and sounds great.

Anyone else watch any of the CBS NCAA BB games in HD and have the picture go blurry for a second or two? It seems to do this every week I watch one of their games and does it constantly throughout. Just curious if this is a CBS problem or something with my cable provider or cable box.

Yes....Ken is right here. The momentary blur is a Harris encoder issue. My local CBS station had this issue until I complained and they fixed it.

Is this the same issue I see with my local NBC affiliate on SNF? The "fast motion" (pause) "brief blur" thing has been there every time I've looked.

Do you happen to know if NBC's HQ has the same information about this, so I can point the local affiliate in the right direction?

I've complained about this to WBBM several times, they dont care. Maybe complaining to CBS about the inability of their chicago station to change the settings would be helpful?

Thanks for this info. I was watching my UK Wildcats take down Vandy yesterday, and was having these blur issues. I just contacted WKRC in Cincinnati about the problem. I hope they fix it!

My region got the TTvOSU game, so I was listening to my Wildcats via streaming audio. When it went to the first overtime, I checked the CBS affiliate to see if they picked it up; they had. Great picture, as is typical of CBS.

Superb contest between Vandy and UK! I was at that game last year, and it was a shock to see Kentucky lose at home. But this time, the Commodores were heavy favorites (they were undefeated, and UK is having its worst season in 19 years). I'm proud of the way Kentucky played, even with the lingering injuries to key players.
