Which do you feel is the better unit I am more concerned with PQ than audio also I can get the Marantz new for $300. So do I get the Marantz now or wait and pay a little more for the Oppo?

I have Marantz DV6001 bought it for 300+, would like to know whether to change this with Oppo 983 for 400+. Please comment.

So far I am very happy with Marantz DV6001 (Sound is superior, compared with Pioneer Elite 48DV, Denon DVD Player 1920, not sure whether to pay $100+ for Oppo 983).

If you are 'very happy' with the Marantz.... why are you considering changing it?

hi - i just ordered the marantz 6001 and would like to know how do you feel about this dvd player in PQ etc. - i have the oppo 981 now - but will use the marantz in the main room and put the 981 to the bedroom

are you happy with the 6001 or very happy with it ?
i like marantz products - and have the 7002 and cd player from them so this will match on my audio stand also --

i just hope it will preform as good as the 981 i been using - and hoping it to be better -

what can you tell me about the 6001 ?
