I currently have a SkiFi2 at work. I listen to ESPN Radio 90% of the time and there are times when I'm interrupted and want to rewind say 10 or 15 seconds. The skifi2 lets me jump back, but only to the previous segment or the beginning of the current. In talk radio this can be 5 minutes or more.

Is there a radio that'll let me rewind by time and not segment?

I don't know anything about XM, but have you tried holding the rewind button down? On my radio, hitting the button jumps back a segment, while holding it down does a slow rewind.

Yeah. That just speeds through the segments. Going forward obviously sends it to live radio.

Which one do you have?

I have Sirius (Sportster Replay).

I looked up the user manual for your radio, and you are right. It only jumps back to the beginning of song (or segments).

Your only other option is to press stop when interrupted and press it again to pick up from that point.
