hello, I am looking for theater seats that are black micro fiber or suede. any suggestions on where to purchase for a good price?

Both Palliser and Berkline have black microfiber. I'm sure there are other companies that do as well.

I did not check to see if they had black but check out Ashleys furniture store.
You will be very happy with their selection. Price for me was 1200 dollars for 6 chairs.
I had been looking at everything. Most were double if not trible that price per chair.

If you are looking for something at a lower price I would take a look at the Coasters at Home Theater Authority.

I took a good look at the Ashleys when I was buying my seats and they were not what I would call well constructed at all. I seriously considered the Coasters, but ultimately ended up with Berklines since I ended up going with the power recline option.
