I need a dual gang but have only seen the "snap in' single plates. Any suggestions?

I know this doesn't specifically answer your question, but if the outlet will be out of site (behind TV or behind furniture), have you considered running the cables directly through the wall and not into a wallplate? The less connections the better in my view...especially with the poor HDMI connector design.

Also not what you are looking for, but Monoprice has a 3-gang 7.1 wallplate, but then you'll need another gang for the HMDI wallplate.

To get all that in a 2-gang plate is probably not feasible.

I understand the "extra connections" concern, but the installer only left about a foot of speaker wire behind the plate and wont reach the reciever, for all 7 speakers. The HDMI is longer but comes out of the same box, so if I put a plate I have to connect that too. I was hoping for a "snap in" type that you can add ANYTHING too, audio and video.

I can think of a way to do it in three gangs, 2 for the 8 channels, 1 for hdmi, but I'm not aware of any products for less. Can you install at 3 gang box?

This is the closest I can find for ya. click the 7.1 wall plate to see better detail you can drill a hole and feed the HDMI through, but be very careful if you go this route. There are companies mentioned previously here on this forum somewhere that can custom build you a wall plate. I also remember seeing a keystone HDMI just cant find where.
