Just as my Samsung 1200 has worked perfectly over the last couple months, (after the lastest download) I now have a problem.
3:10 to Yuma just sets at the chessy "loading" animation and goes no farther.
Today was my second copy, and both have sat for over 15 minutes on the loading screen.
Anyone else having this problem on the Samsung bdp1200???

I think people with the 1400 are having issues as well as people with the BDUP5K are also having issues with this disc.

I am having the same problem on my 1200. I haven't played that many titles, but this is the first one that won't play. Has anyone found a work around yet?
I believe this is a known problem with Samsung 1200, and there's no solution yet. Check the Blu-ray Hardware forum, there's a sticky 1200 thread there.
I can't offer a solution, but I can confirm the exact problem described by others with the Samsumg BD-P1200 player when attempting to play the Blu-ray release of 3:10 to Yuma. The player simply hangs when displaying the "Loading Program" logo. I downloaded and installed the latest firmware offering from Samsung this evening but the problem remains. I have had other problems with Blu-ray releases rented from Netflix - specifically Live Free or Die Hard, which would only play on the Samsung BD-P1200 after I discovered a "work-around" on the Internet that involved inserting another movie from the same distributor, (Ratatouille), which loaded properly, then ejecting that disc and inserting Live Free or Die Hard. In that case, the insertion of the other movie first apparently "initialized" the Samsung player's programming so that it would then accept the latter movie disc. No such luck with 3:10 to Yuma though. I'll just have to return it to Netflix without being able to view it. I also have a Toshiba HD-DVD player and the majority of the high-definition movies I've rented so far from Netflix have been in HD-DVD format. To date I've experienced absolutely no problems with any HD-DVD disc, but now Netflix has decided to drop support of the HD-DVD format so now I'm faced with having to rent all movies from Netflix in either standard DVD format or "roll the dice" and rent Blu-ray discs and see if they will play in my buggy Samsung player! Now I find myself staring at my unreliable Samsung BD-P1200 player and my obsolete but reliable Toshiba HD-DVD player, wondering why I ever abandoned my old standard DVD players in the first place! :(

I am having a similar problem, but on my PS3.
The BD worked fine the day I bought it, but after a firmware update on my PS3, the BD does not load now...maybe once every 30 tries, and even then I cant fast forward or chapter skip without getting booted to the PS3 menu.

Works fine on my PS3 with latest firmware. Samsung really ought to be sued for putting out buggy hardware.

Works fine on my BD30 (no firmware updates needed so far).

I have the same symptoms with 3:10 to Yuma on my Samsung BD-P1000. I messaged Samsung tech support. I'll report back here with their response.
I just talked to Samsung customer support. She said they were aware of problem with 3:10 to Yuma, and are in the final stages of a new firmware release that fixes it. She could not give me a firm date for the release.

I have a Samsung BDP-1400 with latest firmware (v1.5) and I have no problems with "3:10 To Yuma" (altough I have just watched the first ten minutes of the movie mind you)

How can I display Yuma blu-ray on my PS3 on a 16:9 AR screen? The blu-ray box says it can do this but I don't see on the menu.
