sony needs a reality check.Same as it was for Sony's last Apatow-produced flick, tho'. The general retail price for Superbad was only a buck higher than the $39.99 MSRP crowd.

Same MSRP as Superbad and Spiderman 3. This is gonna be a 2 disc flagship release from Sony. Like those two, you will be able to get it for around $28 on release day and even less some time later. Best Buy was selling both for $20 a couple weeks ago in their blu-ray sale.

I was hoping that sony brought out "13th floor"... Highly underrated scifi flick, overshadowed by matrix at its time.

I knew this would be coming out soon. I was looking through my DVDs and noticed this was a Sony flick. Like other crappy Sony movies of its time (Hollowman), this was a sure thing on Blu-ray.. I wish they would put out Bad Boys I & II.

I feel you there. I am looking foward to those two, as well as all the other Michael Bay movies.

I predict we will see Not Another Teen Movie soon.. Same time period as many of their current catalog offerings.

I'm with you, I loved 13th Floor. It went further into the sci-fi noir that Matrix explored in its first half. My sci-fi appetite is satisfied enough though with Gattaca coming in March.

For a reminder, the DVD release did get 5 stars (although back in 2000) on DVDTalk, so maybe a reused master wouldn't be so bad..

I'll wait for Walk Hard to drop to 20 bucks online or at Fry's.

I'll take Adv of Baron Munchausen....if only it came out as 19.99 like other old movies. I wonder if there's going to be any extras or whatnot.

• Featurettes: "The Madness and Misadventures of Munchausen," "As We once Dreamed It: Afterthoughts by Terry Gilliam & Charles McKeown"
• Storyboard Sequences: "A Voyage to the Moon," "The Baron & Bucephalos Charge the Turkish Gates"

I'm definitely getting WALK HARD. I loved the movie and am still pissed off that it tanked...can't stop listening to the soundtrack - great stuff. I'm also in for Baron Munchausen and The 6th Day - for some reason, I really dig that flick, as cheesy as it is and was thinking a few days ago that I bet Sony would bring it out sooner or later...

I'm staying FAR away from The Water Horse... I usually love those 'kids and a creature' movies but that one just didn't do anything for me...at all.

Bad Boys II has been in Sony Blu-ray promos for FOREVER. Is there even anything remotely resembling a release date for that one?

YES Walk Hard the most undeserving under performer of 2007. Can't wait even Sonys ridiculous MSRP can't upset me

Early specs indicate a two-disc set, with the first disc containing an unrated cut of the film, boasting 30 minutes of newly-inserted footage.

Multiple extras spread over both discs will include an audio commentary with writer/producer Judd Apatow, star John C. Reilly and director Jake Kasdan, multiple making-of featurettes, deleted & extended scenes, unexpurgated versions of musical performances seen in the film, and the "Line-O-Rama" montage.

Sweet, glad to see a fully packed 2 disc set for this awesome movie.
