This probably a really dumb question, but I just got a TV stand (http://www.amazon.com/OmniMount-G-353G-Stellar-3-Shelf-Stand/dp/B000X960VG******sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1200448949&sr=1-11) that has a tempered glass top. The top is not fastened down to the stand at all, probably depending on gravity and the weight of the TV on top to stay put. It came with 4 of those soft, clear, slightly sticky spacers that keep the glass from resting directly on the metal frame. I've been trying to look for those spacers (or similar ones), but apparently "soft, clear, slightly sticky spacers" is not a good search criteria. Anyone know where I can find them?

My alternative would be to use rubber washers or grommets, but those aren't as nice, nor do they have the stickiness.

Any home improvement store should have them - they are listed as table top protectors, etc. and come in many different kinds.

Yes. At HomeDepot, they are with the felt pads which you might put under chair legs to protect your floors. For some reason, they are also in the same aisle with the mail boxes and house numbers.
