Does anyone know if the inter-key delay can be adjusted on the MX-810?

I'm trying to get the UP and Down arrows working for my TVIX so that when the buttons are held down they scroll like on the orginal remote. I found the codes for up and down on the TVIX site and created a pronto hex code for the commands and imported them.

The buttons now scroll, but too quickly. Most remotes have a way to set the inter-key delay for repeating commands. I know both pronto and harmony remotes do. Anyone know how to adjust this on the MX-810?

Thanks,

There's no way to do this on the MX-810 via the software. You can vary how the commands work by different learning methods however. Try learning the commands from the TVIX remote by holding down or "fluttering" the button on the TVIX remote during the learning process. This usually gives the repeat function you are looking for.

Thanks for the reply. I had already tried that a couple times without success. Which is why I decided to try the hex code directly.

I had to return my remote today because several buttons were not always activating when they should. I will try the "fluttering" method again when I get my replacement.

(By the way I think I talked to you today about the hardware problem I was having) :D

Anyways, the MX-810 is a great remote and is far better then the MX-700 it is replacing. I just wish they had kept the old style of programming rather then their rather poor attempt at a wizard. I also wish URC would improve their database. They should follow Logitech and allow members to add missing devices to their web database.

I wish they'd used their standard software as well, but the MX-810 does have some nice features that may have been more difficult to implement with the standard software.

I believe there's also a way you could edit the hex code to change the repeats, but I'm not that knowledgeable on it. Check on Remote Central.

I discovered errors in the database (some major, some minor) in nearly every one of my devices (about 10-12) that I tried, most of which are mainstream brands/models.
