can a hdmi cable short out? i was trying to hook up my hr20 reciever, toshiba a30 dvd and a pioneer elite blu-ray player, to a terk Hdmi selector switch. i was getting a picture from the hd-dvd and the hr20 and nonthing from the pioneer when i went to change things around i notice i was getting no signal from anything. then i hooked the main hdmi cable directly to my hr20 to plasma i get nothing. i was just wondering if they short out... i would think it still would work, i didnt do anything wrong. yes it was working before i tried the terk..
