Hi am buying sony 52xbr5 and ordered sammy 5000 and was wondering if my Onkyo 804 ( 1.1 ) would be able to pass 1080p from XBR5 to 804 and to 5000via HDMI
Or do i have to HDMI 5000 directly to my TV with optical to 804
If so would i have more audio choices with 5000 via HDMI from tv to avr to 5000
Please explain in simple terms because my A/V knowledge is very limited
